Agreed a good album, but one point should be made that the song labeled Out Of Nowhere is in fact Tadd Dameron's The Casbah based on Out Of Nowhere. McIntosh plays the lead on trombone but the background voicings are a bit distracting. Maybe they did it like this to contrast Johnny Cole's opening solo. Later on there are some good Dameronesque passages between solos and leading back to the melody, this time led by Coles. Barry Harris plays this song on his BARRY HARRIS PLAYS TADD DAMERON a trio session from the 1970's - For downloading purposes Moody plays flute on tracks 1,2,5 and 7 -- All players solo on the the final track baritone, trombone, Moody on tenor and Coles plus some addition written blues choruses.
