I have a couple of deluxe-edition Bibles given to me as confirmation gifts that see little use. As a compulsive underliner and annotator, I just can't bring myself to vandalize a leather-bound Bible with gilded parchment pages. This "pulp fiction" production of the King James translation, on the other hand, is just the ticket to guilt-free consumption for those of us who take "active" reading to the extreme. It's cheap, disposable and easily replaceable; it adds very little weight, takes even less space in my book bag. As for the translation, the King James is the only way to go for those of us take literature seriously and prize metaphor as the analog for apprehension of the non-verbal. For "accuracy" of translation, I'm still partial to the Revised Standard (New Revised, if need be) but have yet to find a working man's copy as serviceable as this one. (Warning: the print is quite petite.)I like the price and ease and convenience of being able to hand these out. the print is really small, hard to read if your eyes arnt that good.I would go for a larger print version for ease of use.Print to smallYea, its a king James bible. I recommend you buy a magnifying glass to read it though. The print is very small, like half of what normal print would be. It's a good backup, bathroom bible but I wouldn't try to muscle my way thru it.hello! the price of this Bible was excellent. The binding is good, not stiff like some other paperbacks Bibles I’ve had. It won't be fair if I complaint for it paying a cheap price. I brought these mostly to giveaway. These days Gospel tracts are just thrown away but giving a Bible is worth. Paper ripped on its first use. This is a poor attempt. Get a different one instead, you can get a pew bible (in ESV or NIV or KJV) very cheaply for a few pounds more, SPENT THE EXTRA MONEY so that you can read the Bible rather than grumble about its low quality.The Bible came fast and I'm very pleased with it . God value as well .
