I want to start this review by saying I think this is one of the better new series in this genre and I highly recommend it.The United State's Secretary of State is visiting Vietnam at the same time the Acton's are there visiting and touring the Hanoi museum. Russia's Prime Minister happens to be there at the same time and as luck would have it the American delegation meet the Russian delegation at a famous display just as the Acton's were getting ready to leave the display. Suddenly an assassin appears and kills the Russian body guards and the Russian Prime Minister. The Delta Force group are the protection detail for the Secretary of State and they quickly rush her to safety. As the Actons watch the assassin jumps through the window and escapes. Soon the Actons find themselves being suspected of being part of the plot and being wanted by both the Vietnamese and the Russians. Plus the Vietnamese are reporting one of the Delta Force group was the assassin. All this finds the Actons on the run, the Secretary of State trapped in a hotel with Delta Force ready to give up their lives to protect the Secretary and Russia using all the confusion and propaganda to invade Ukraine.An exciting read that you can almost see happening in real life especially with the current invasion of Ukraine.
