From the collection (2003) "Touch Me I'm Sick" inspired by Kurt Cobain
Number (N)ine “Touch Me I’m Sick” collection showcased a grunge and punk aesthetic, taking inspiration from the Seattle 90’s rock era as well as referencing Takahiro’s own physical health state which halted him from designing for two collections. Going back to his love for grunge music, Miyashita seeked out photographer Charles Peterson to provide graphics for this capsule collection. The collaboration lineup showcased a primarily black & white aesthetic with printed graphics and displaying Peterson’s grunge imagery on blazers, pants, and shoes.
